Shellie has been the program director for the radiation therapy program at Kent State University- Salem Campus for the past 3 years. As the program director, Shellie teaches most courses for the program and does all student advising for program admission. Prior to being the program director, Shellie was the clinical coordinator for the radiation therapy program at Kent State University- Salem for 15 years.
Shellie is actively involved in the Ohio Society of Radiologic Technologists, where she served as President Elect in 2021 and President in 2022. Shellie has presented as local, state, and national conferences.
Shellie has been a site visitor for the JRCERT since 2008 where she served as team chair since 2019. In April 2023, Shellie was installed as a Director on the JRCERT Board.
In her spare time, she loves to travel and spend time with her family.
