Tim Ebrom Celebrates 4th Anniversary with JRCERT

On June 4th, 2023, Accreditation Assistant Timothy Ebrom, M.S. celebrated his fourth anniversary working at the JRCERT. Recently, Tim completed the Employee Spotlight to reflect on his time working at the JRCERT and let us know some fun facts about him. Read his responses below!

Q: What is your favorite part of working at the JRCERT?

A: I love how each day is different. Every day I learn something new. I also enjoy the close sense of family with my JRCERT coworkers and the relationships I have been able to forge with program directors and site visitors over the years.

Q: What projects have you worked on at the JRCERT that you are most proud of?

A: I worked on the revamping of our JRCERT website in 2022. I have also been one of the leads in increasing our organization’s social media presence over the last few years. Recently I have become more involved in the administration of our LINK Learning Management System. I’m also on the team that is organizing our 2024 JRCERT Conference, so I’m very excited for that!

Q: What hobbies do you have/how do you spend your free time?

A: Chasing around a toddler eats up most of my free time these days, but it is also lots of fun!

Q: Where is your favorite destination that you’ve visited and why?

A: My wife and I got engaged on a cruise in the Caribbean and we went on a Mediterranean cruise for our honeymoon. Really anywhere warm with water is good for me!

Q: What is your favorite musical artist/style of music?

A: I’ve played the piano since 2nd grade so I really have an appreciation and love for all types of music. But my go-to listen is always classic rock, and my favorite artist is the Piano Man himself, Billy Joel.

Q: What is your favorite sports team and what is your favorite memory of this team?

A: November 3, 2016. Despite seemingly impossible odds to overcome, a young team from the Northside of Chicago broke a 108-year World Series drought after a much needed 17-minute rain delay in Cleveland. That ground ball from Bryant to Rizzo for the final out is forever burned into my memory and will always be one of the greatest joys of my tenure as a Chicago Cubs fan.

Q: What is the craziest fashion trend you ever rocked?

A: My wife says they’re crazy but I still rock em anyway. Love my Hawaiian shirts!

Q: If you were famous, what would you be famous for?

A: Probably saying something stupid lol.

Q: If you were an Olympic athlete, what sport would you compete in?

A: I wouldn’t compete by any means, but I love to play golf.
