Organizational Report
The 2021 JRCERT Organizational Report is now available here and under the About JRCERT
section of the JRCERT website. The most recent Organizational Report, in addition to previous
reports, can be viewed in the same Flipbooks resource. The Organizational Report contains
information about the organization, the Board of Directors, JRCERT staff, and JRCERT site
visitors. The report also contains aggregate data about JRCERT-accredited programs in
radiography, radiation therapy, medical dosimetry, and magnetic resonance. Data regarding
the number of students that pass the credentialing exam, the number of students finding
employment, the number of students completing programs, and the number of graduates
and enrollments is collected from the Annual Reports. Please take the opportunity to read
this report and contact the JRCERT office if you should have any questions.
“Adequate human and physical resources must be provided for all students
taking part in clinical experiences at a clinical setting at any point.”
Shared Clinical Settings
A shared clinical setting is one that is utilized by two or more accredited programs. These
programs utilize the same resources, both human and physical, that the clinical setting
offers.
The JRCERT defers to clinical settings to determine which, and how many, educational
programs are able to utilize their resources as it is the prerogative of the setting to
determine clinical affiliations. Adequate human and physical resources must be provided for
all students taking part in clinical experiences at a clinical setting at any point. The staff/
therapeutic device/magnet to student ratio must be maintained at no more than 1:1 (2:1
student to staff ratio for medical dosimetry).
The JRCERT encourages all programs and a representative of the shared clinical setting to
coordinate their schedules accordingly. Programs are reminded that clinical capacities
represent the maximum number of students that may be assigned to a clinical setting at any
one point. Clinical capacities are determined by the availability of physical and human
resources. Programs should ensure that the information and data submitted for clinical
setting recognition is accurate.
