Policy Statements

The Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT):

90.501 defines sexual harassment as any unwelcome communication of a sexual nature, whether verbal, physical, written or pictorial.
90.502 does not condone any form of sexual harassment.
90.503 requires each site visitor/apprentice to conduct himself or herself in an appropriate manner as to contribute to an environment free of sexual harassment when performing on-site evaluations for the JRCERT.
90.504 expects site visitors/apprentices to be treated with respect and dignity by site visit team members and sponsor and program officials during the performance of an on-site evaluation.
90.505 encourages site visitors/apprentices to express freely, responsibly and in a timely manner their opinions and feelings about any problem or complaint of sexual harassment to the Board of Directors or Executive Staff.
90.506 considers that any act by a site visitor/apprentice, sponsor or program official, JRCERT Director or JRCERT employee of reprisal, interference, restraint, penalty, discrimination, coercion or harassment, either overtly or covertly, against any site visitor/apprentice for responsibly using this policy and its procedures, interferes with free expression and openness.
