On March 26, 2023, Executive Associate Director Traci Lang celebrated her eleventh anniversary at the JRCERT. Traci recently completed our Employee Spotlight to reflect on her time at the JRCERT and let us know some fun facts about her. Read her answers below!
Q: What is your favorite part of working at the JRCERT?
A: It’s hard to pick one favorite thing. I love the amazing people whom I work and interact with. I love the daily challenges that we encounter. I am proud that I am at an organization that supports both individual and group learning/development. Confucius was right, “choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”
Q: What projects have you worked on at the JRCERT that you are most proud of?
A: I am proud of many projects I have been involved in at the JRCERT, specifically, the 2021 Standards revision, strategic planning projects, and overseeing the site visitor process.
Q: What hobbies do you have/how do you spend your free time?
A: I enjoy traveling with family and friends, yoga, walking, podcasts, reading, crocheting, and spending time with our four-legged family members!
Q: What is your favorite musical artist/style of music?
A: I love all 90’s/Alternative/Grunge music.
Q: What is your favorite meal for dinner?
A: Growing up, I loved breakfast for dinner. As an adult, I still love breakfast for dinner, and it tastes better because of my childhood memories.
Q: What is the craziest fashion trend you ever rocked?
A: Lol, big (and I do mean BIG) hair and bright neon colors from the late 80’s/early 90’s.
