Dr. Fleming is radiography certified and holds an Associate of Applied Sciences in Radiologic Technology degree, a Bachelor of Science in Health Arts degree, a Master’s in Business Administration degree, and a Doctor of Education in Learning Organizations and Strategic Change degree. Her career at Columbia State Community College (Tennessee) includes 18 years as radiologic technology clinical coordinator followed by 15 years in service to the Health Sciences Division’s Nursing & Allied Health programs, while maintaining active status as a radiography faculty member.
Dr. Fleming is a past President and Life Member of the Tennessee Society for Radiologic Technologists and has also served on multiple American Society of Radiologic Technologists committees and in the House of Delegates. Dr. Fleming has presented on numerous topics at local, state, and national conferences. She leads an International Studies embedded clinical program annually with a focus on increasing students’ understanding of cultural differences in healthcare and interdisciplinary team building. She became an active site visitor for the JRCERT in 1996 and joined the Board of Directors in April 2021.
