Paul Luhn Celebrates 9th Anniversary with JRCERT

On February 9, 2024, IT Administrator Paul Luhn celebrated his ninth anniversary with the JRCERT. Recently, Paul was the focus of our Employee Spotlight and answered some questions to reflect on his time at the JRCERT and let us know some fun facts about him. Read his answers below!

Q: What is your favorite part of working at the JRCERT?

A: My favorite part of working at the JRCERT is working with a family-oriented staff and helping program directors.

Q: What projects have you worked on at the JRCERT that you are most proud of?

A: I spearheaded the creation of the new Accreditation Management System (AMS) portal for program directors in 2016 and led a team in upgrading the portal in 2022 to make it more user friendly and easier to navigate.

Q: What hobbies do you have/how do you spend your free time?

A: I enjoy playing softball and golf, traveling around the country, and spending time with my children and grandchildren.

Q: Where is your favorite destination that you’ve visited and why?

A: My favorite destination is Arizona where we visited the red rocks of Sedona and marveled at the majesty of the Grand Canyon near Flagstaff.

Q: What is your favorite sports team and what is your favorite memory of this team?

A: My favorite sports team has to be the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 1970s when stars like Terry Bradshaw, Franco Harris, Mean Joe Green, Lynn Swann, John Stallworth, and Jack Ham lit up the field with spectacular plays.

Q: What is your favorite meal for dinner?

A: My favorite dinner is a roast with potatoes, carrots, and onions in the oven and homemade gravy (or a good ribeye will do too!)
