Meredith Brown, M.S., R.T.(R)Director
Meredith Brown is currently a Professor and Program Director for the Radiologic Technology program at McLennan Community College located in Waco, Texas. Her educational background includes an Associate of Applied Science degree in Radiologic Technology from McLennan Community College in 1997, a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Development and Advanced Patient Care from Grand Canyon University in 2011, and a Master of Science degree in Clinical Practice Management from Texas Tech Health Science Center in 2014. Meredith is registered in radiography with a 12-year clinical career, split between employment at two large hospitals, where she served as a lead tech and a diagnostic supervisor for many of those years. She joined the educational world in 2009 and assumed the role of Program Director in 2015.
In addition to her daily duties, Meredith is a member of ASRT and TSRT professional organizations, participates in philanthropic and collegiality activities regularly, and makes professional growth and development opportunities a priority. As an educator, she strives to support student success through innovative teaching strategies and the holistic development of both soft and hard skills. Meredith joined the JRCERT Board of Directors in April 2021.
Meredith is married to her husband, Jeff, and together they have a son in the U.S. Army, a daughter in college, and another son in the early years of grade school. She enjoys home design, cooking, and relaxing by the pool with family and friends.
