Beverly Felder, R.N., B.S.N., M.P.A.Director
Beverly joined the JRCERT Board of Directors in April 2016 bringing with her an extensive 35-year clinical nursing practice experience from large teaching hospitals to small community hospitals, from not-for-profit to for-profit institutions, and from specialty to long-term facilities. Her experience focused on critical care nursing in Level 1, Level II, and Level III facilities. Beverly received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Elmhurst College, Elmhurst, Illinois. With a passion for management, she went on to earn her Master’s in Public Administration degree from Roosevelt University, Chicago, Illinois.
With her clinical experience and academic preparation, she assumed the position of Health Professions Retention Specialist at Elgin Community College, Elgin, Illinois. In that role for twelve years, she assisted students in successfully completing their chosen field of education. She also participated in different programs’ accreditation process and valued the professional standards used to attain a quality education.
Her joys are her 5 grandkids and watching her one and only granddaughter perform in competitive cheerleading at a national level! She recently relocated to Arizona with her husband and built a new home, while simultaneously helping their 2 daughters and their families relocate there too.
