Fees for Accreditation Services

Policy Statements

The Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT):

11.001charges reasonable fees to support the provision of accreditation services.
11.002delays implementation of any fee increase for at least one (1) year following announcement.
11.003does not refund accreditation fees.
11.004requires payment of a fee and the signature of the President/Chief Executive Officer of the sponsoring institution for a request for an extension greater than thirty (30) days for submission of the self-study report or the interim report.

Procedures

The Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT):

11.001Aassesses fees for annual accreditation services, initial accreditation, and continuing accreditation.
11.001Brequires sponsors to pay a fixed rate per site visitor for expenses associated with the site visit, i.e., airfare, meals, etc. The sponsor is responsible for the arrangement and cost of hotel accommodations, as well as all site visitor transportation during the on-site visit which includes transportation to and from the airport and clinical settings.
11.001Crequires programs to be current in payment of all fees to maintain accreditation status and places programs in arrears on Administrative Probationary Accreditation following established procedures.
11.002Apublishes notification of fee increases at least one (1) year prior to the proposed date of increase.
